A Little Jewel
The Foremost Terrace Room Enchants
Wedding season is upon us. Or at least the wedding planning season. The most popular time to get engaged is between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve, and the Terrace Room at Foremost is already booking up.
Offering Wedding and Reception Packages, full catering, and onsite event coordination all in the same place is a rarity in the High Desert, and Laura Crites, Event Manager, is proud of what they do for their clients. But don’t try to pigeonhole her into just Weddings. “We do events for Quinceaneras, Sweet Sixteens, Anniversaries, Business Meetings, Conferences, Award Dinners, Banquets…” She’s not done yet. “Graduations for Preschools and Nursing Schools, Seminars, Concerts, School Dances…” Just about any event imaginable can work in the Terrace Room.
The 7200 square foot Grand Ballroom sits at the center of a senior living campus and is ultimately transformable to accommodate just about any need. With a dance floor and full seating, it can hold 300 people. The layout of the room can be tailored to your specific event. A full size screen drops down over the stage, and onsite equipment includes a wireless microphone, satellite hook-up for full audio visual capabilities.
The full kitchen means they can provide in-house catering and customized menus including plated entrees, buffets and appetizers for a breakfast, lunch or dinner event.
But it’s probably the customer service that sets them apart. Laura, in the Event Planning business for 21 years, is a one-stop shop to help put together an entire event. Be it a Wedding and Reception, School Dance, Fundraiser Dinner, Graduation or any Celebration, Laura takes great pride in doing her best for her clients. “People are entrusting me with their special day. I want to help people have their special events and make it affordable in this economy, so I work with my clients to make something magical happen for them. When it’s gone perfectly and is everything they want it to be, that’s what it’s all about.”
Laura also does a lot to support the community. To that end, she caters to the needs of Nonprofit Organizations, Schools and Churches. “They need help too. I give them special packages. It’s so important to be able to reach out to the community.”
WEDDINGS
Weddings can take place outside on the campus grounds at the gazebo, which boast a beautiful view of the San Bernardino Mountains, or inside the Terrace Room. Laura Crites posts photos of their events on their Facebook page.
